In
collaboration with the Place des Arts de Montréal,
MAM was proud to present d’accord,
an exhibition of innovative works of musical inspiration. Glass,
wood, textiles, metals, ceramics, and jewellery combined harmoniously,
transformed into fantastic and audacious artworks. The results of
these never-before-seen and unusual combinations were exhibited
in the Hall
des Pas perdus,
métro level of the Place des Arts, for the 11th edition of
the Journées de la culture, from September
28 to 30, 2007. The exhibition also included didactic panels to
show the different fine crafts techniques used by the artists. Artists
from the MAM Fine Crafts Collective were on hand during the Journées
de la Culture to comment on the exhibition and to answer any questions
the public might have had. |
