...en feu * emerging canadian artists in contemporary fine crafts

The MAM Fine Crafts Collective is proud to have presented en feu* emerging canadian artists in contemporary fine crafts, an exhibition held December 7 to 22, 2007 at the 52nd annual Salon des métiers d’art du Québec, in the exhibition halls at Place Bonaventure.

en feu* brought together one-of-a-kind artworks by 16 of the most promising emerging fine crafts artists from across Canada - in contemporary ceramics, fibre arts, textile construction, jewellery design, and glass - each artist having a maximum of 5 years experience as a professional artisan.

The exhibition (whose title means “on fire”) marked Craft Year 2007, as well as the 5th anniversary of the MAM Fine Craft Collective, a dynamic Montreal-based collective of emerging fine crafts artists in Québec.
