A
contemporary twist on modernist monochromatic exhibitions, the MAM Fine
Crafts Collective presents PANTONE®
141M to PANTONE 147M, a juried exhibition of fine crafts
works by emerging artists, with a colour-range theme inspired by PANTONE*
colour charts. The exhibition will be held at the Galerie Art Neuf of
the Centre Culturel Calixa-Lavallée, in Lafontaine Park in Montréal,
from January 12 to February 15 2009, with an opening on Tuesday January
20 at 6pm.
MAM
is looking for works that fall within this colour scale, created by
emerging fine crafts artists who have no more than 10 years of professional
experience. MAM encourages hybrid and collective works, made by 2 or
more artists and combining a variety of disciplines. Artists proposing
hybrid works will therefore be given priority.

MAM

lettres du Québec (CALQ) and the Conférence régionale
des élus (CRÉ) de Montréal for their valued collaboration.
